I've played a lot of roles in my life...literally! I've been an actor in Los Angeles for 20+ years. You may have unknowingly caught me during a commercial break or guest-starring on one of your favorite shows ("That 70's Show" and "NCIS:Hawaii" were super fun!).

But after spending years in front of the camera as an actor, when I received a camera for Christmas over a decade ago from my hubby - I was too intimidated to even take it out of the box! But with a nudge from my dad, I took on a 40 day challenge. So for 40 days, as I walked our dog around the neighborhood, I taught myself to shoot on Manual mode, photographing flowers, ivy-covered fences, silly squirrels and sky-dancing hummingbirds...all this beauty was just waiting for me to notice it.

The way I see the world has changed forever, and now I just can't stop!

My favorite part of what I do is seeing the glint in someone's eye when I can see their self-esteem soar as we move through a session. I just LOVE empowering people and helping them see their own greatness and beauty.

While you may still catch me lighting up the screen, you can bet I'll be searching for something inspiring to capture.

That, or fixing a snack for my two boys.
